The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a sacred and transformative journey within the Catholic Church that welcomes individuals into the rich tapestry of Catholicism. It is offered worldwide, so you can journey with other enquirers. 

I have just started this online course and am excited to explore the Catholic Church. I have completed the first lesson and have experienced AhA moments alongside challenges to my Protestant doctrines.

The RCIA course is a profound exploration of faith, doctrine, and spiritual formation designed for those seeking initiation into the Catholic community. 

From inquiry to initiation, the RCIA course unfolds as a comprehensive and intentional process that guides individuals through the stages of discovery, learning, and incorporation into the Catholic faith.

1. The Journey of Inquiry:

The RCIA course begins with an inquiry stage, during which individuals, often called catechumens, explore the Catholic faith. This initial phase encourages questions, curiosity, and deep reflection on one’s spiritual journey. Facilitated by knowledgeable instructors and mentors, the inquiry stage sets the tone for exploring Catholic beliefs, practices, and the significance of joining the faith community.

2. Catechesis and Learning:

Central to the RCIA course is the catechesis stage, in which catechumens delve into the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church.
